Designed for either mouth-to-lung (MTL) or direct-lung (DL) vaping, Ample’s Firefox vape tank comes with a dual-channel, top airflow system. Rather than delivering excess cloud, the Firefox tank’s airflow pipework is designed to concentrate your e juice flavour. This is a 24mm diameter tank that holds 2ml of e juice.

Even though the Firefox MTL / DL tank comes with two sub-ohm coils, the tank’s innovative airflow system is designed specifically for flavour. The adjustable airflow ports take the shape of Red Panda (Firefox) ‘eyes’ located below the tank’s top-fill cap. To adjust the airflow, you simply twist the adjuster ring.

With wide open airflow, this tank delivers a direct-lung hit which will appeal to regular sub-ohm vapers. Even wide-open, you’ll find that the tank delivers reduced cloud volume. As well as allowing the flavour to shine-through, reduced cloud production means that the Firefox tank also consumes less e juice.

By narrowing the airflow intakes, the Firefox tank switches into mouth-to-lung vaping mode. To maximise the MTL flavour and draw, you’ll find a longer cigarette style drip tip in the spares bag. Most mouth-to-lung vapers will probably find that the supplied 0.3 Ohm coils will work best at the lower end of their 25 to 75 Watt firing range. 30 Watts is a good starting point in your quest for optimum MTL flavour.

To cover both vaping styles, Firefox replaceable coil heads are designed with dual vertical cores. A deep padding of organic cotton preserves vapour purity and also helps the coils to tolerate a wider range of wattage settings. Even with twin channels for top-airflow, Firefox coils are easy to replace. Simply line up the tank’s two Stainless Steel airflow tubes with the holes in the coil’s chamber.
