Technically, the Aegis box mod features dust, sand and water protection up to international standard, IP67. This makes the device perfect for a day’s fun at the beach or a typical working day on a construction site.
Even with a toughened casing, the Aegis mod still comes top of the class for variable wattage (VW), bypass and temperature control (TC) functionality. A handsome OLED display shows Ohms, Amps, Volts and a puff counter; all in a list format below your chosen setting. The screen format is refreshingly simple, and even offers a brightness setting for easy reading in sunny conditions.
Along with basic, user-friendly VW, bypass and TC modes, the Aegis mod’s control chip also delivers some luxurious extras. First, you’ll notice the chip’s amazingly quick response – the mod delivers vapour almost instantaneously after the fire button is pressed. Second, is the sophisticated custom firing curve feature. This tunes the mod to get optimum performance from rebuildable atomizers or exotic coils. Third, are the custom TCR and power adjustment features that support the temperature control functions.
The Aegis mod is designed to run on a single 26650 battery (not supplied). If you prefer to use a standard 18650 vape battery, Geekvape include a battery adapter sleeve in the box. Due to the watertight design of the casing, the Aegis box mod doesn’t have a battery charging facility. Check-out our Accessories pages if you don’t have a separate charger. You’ll find a USB port in a sealed compartment on top of the mod. This is for firmware upgrades only.
This good-looking mod comes with a black silicone finish and an ergonomic, brown leather grip set in brushed metal trim.
