What are pod vape kits?
There are a few types of pod vape kits available. There are:
Open or Refillable Pod Kits - these kits give you the freedom to fill your kit with whatever e-liquid you’d like. This type of kit comes with integrated or interchangeable coils so that you can customise your vaping experience. If you’re looking for an open pod kit, we’d recommend trying the best selling OXVA Xlim Pro Pod Kit.
Closed Vape Pod Kits - Closed vape pod systems are ones that come with replaceable pod cartridges that come prefilled with e liquid. These devices are compact and convenient, and don’t require messy coil changes, so they’re great for everyday use. Once the liquid in teh pod is finished, simply replace with new prefilled pod. We’d recommend trying the SKE Crystal Plus Pod Kit that comes with 6 prefilled e liquid pods of your choice.
Disposable Vape Pods - disposable vape pods also fall under the closed vape pods category. These pods come prefilled and can’t be changed or refilled. A great example of this type of kit is Elf Bar 600 or the Lost Mary BM600. Disposable vape pod kits feature an internal battery and are designed to last for a finite period of time, meaning you’ll need to replace the full kit when the battery or liquid has depleted - whichever comes first. -
What are the best e liquids for pod kits?
Most pod kits operate on a plus-ohm (or mouth to lung) system and have a lower output, so you’ll need to pick a liquid that is thinner in consistency to get the most out of your kit. Liquids that contain more PG than VG are more watery, allowing them to better move through the coil. They typically produce less vapour than higher VG liquids and more closely imitate the feeling of smoking a conventional cigarette. High power pod kits such as the SMOK RPM4 support Direct To Lung vaping and allow you to refill your pod with any liquid of your choice, even High VG. Whatever kit you choose, we’d recommend choosing a high quality e liquid or nic salt liquid that’s higher in PG so that you can take in a higher level of nicotine without the harsh throat hit.

What are the benefits of pod kits?
Pod vape kits are typically easier to use than a standard vape kits and usually have coils built into the pod itself (some pods come without coils), so you won’t need to get messy to replace or change them. This type of kit is designed to be compatible with high nicotine content juice, allowing you to get more of a hit without the need for chain vaping, thus saving you money. They’re also usually quite small and compact, so you won’t need to think about carrying around or storing a heavy device. Most pod kits feature inhale-activation and due to their simplicity are incredibly easy to use. More powerful pods kits also feature adjustable wattage and airflow allowing you to tweak your vape to your preference. As we’ve mentioned, most pod systems usually operate on a MTL (Mouth To Lung) system so they’re great for ex smokers.
